Our local scout group, Robert Schuman Lëtzebuerg-Kiem, is part of the Guides and Scouts of Luxembourg (Lëtzebuerger Guiden a Scouten – www.lgs.lu).

Established back in 1984, it has become an important integration vector for the multi-cultural community living and working on the Plateau Kirchberg.

However, we recently had to lay down our activities for our young guides and scouts due to a lack of leaders (studying abroad, starting professional life, etc.)

We, the old ones, would like to give a new breath to our group. Having a look at the growing population with all the new dwellings, Kiem Ouest, Avalon and later Langflur, we believe that taking part in the local scout movement is beneficial to the social development of this district.

We hope that we can relaunch the two younger age sections (Biber 6-8 years & Wëllefcher 8-11 years) in the coming months.

The challenge, however, can only be raised with your help and active involvement. Some of you were perhaps part of a scout group or some others might have some experience with working with children or might simply be looking for the next endeavor.

If you are up to the challenge and want to take an active part in our group, please contact us at info@kiem.lgs.lu

It’s worth it!

Thank you very much.

Best Guide and Scout regards,
from all at Group Robert Schuman Lëtzebuerg-Kiem
